The member must go to participating provider to receive a discount as the case with benefits such as Pharmacy, Vision, Dental, Physician, Hospital, Chiropractic, and Legal services.  Members can locate a provider by calling a toll free [ bi-lingual] number and speaking to a Customer Service Representative or by using a search link over the internet. Quality programs offer a comprehensive list of participating providers (including chains and independents) nationwide. Card purchasers should take this into consideration when selecting a discount medical plan organization to ensure their employees or members will have adequate coverage in their area.  In other discount programs, the member contacts the service by phone or internet as is the case with Consult a Doctor ™, Counseling, Nurse Hotline and Life Lock Identity Theft Prevention for example.
